Exploring Dearne Valley

Hello again and happy bank holiday!

What a week it’s been! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, planning stories with something for everyone. Our aim is to create a magazine packed with entertaining and relatable tales set in the local area - often with a humorous or dramatic twist, of course! Because we understand people have busy and often stressful lives, we focus on the lighter side, bringing the area to life through short pieces everyone has time to enjoy. Written in large print on uncoated paper, our magazine is easy to access and is an ideal way to take a quick break from it all throughout the month - you don’t need to commit hours to read it all in one go!

This week, we’ve been ambling around and being inspired by some of the Dearne Valley’s beautiful countryside. Did you know there are 14 conservation areas across Dearne Valley? We’re making the most of the end of summer, trying to explore as much as possible and we hope you are too!

We’ve encountered some fabulous local businesses on our travels and are looking forward to working with them. Here at The Dearne Pheasant, we’re passionate about supporting local businesses, which is why we work hard to ensure our advertising options suit you - who better to aim your advertisement at than the 4,500 households in your local area that we deliver to? Speaking of our local community, we’re loving engaging with you on social media. We’ve seen some delicious foodstuffs and talented people! We can’t wait to share our love of fiction with you all but in the meantime, we’re excited to see what you’ve got to share with us.
